Description

The Nomad navigation/travel tower for the 2024-25 KTM EXC is redesigned from the ground up. Only 2 parts are the same as on the previous models, the OEM KTM Rally screen and the internal crossmembers. The rest is all new.

The KTM screen we use is the same simply because it’s still the best one around, and the only one which has been tested and developed in a both a wind tunnel and real world racing. The version we have used for years, and still use today, has the best wind protection of all the available models. If there would have been a better one then we would have used it as we’ve redesigned the tower anyway. Another reason we use an original KTM screen is that if you ever damage one, you can get a new one directly from every KTM dealer, without long distance shipping costs, wherever in the world you may be.

The Nomad tower itself is all new. It all starts with a new super strong, billet machined frame clamp, which not only creates a solid foundation to mount the tower to, but also forms a brace around the headstock and thereby makes the headstock even stronger.

We’ve positioned the screen a little closer to the rider and a fraction higher than on previous models, both for improved airflow over the screen but more so to limit unwanted airflow coming off the new front mudguard.

It took months to develop and make and test several prototypes, but the end result is our best navigation/travel tower ever!
The design of the tower and the machined frame clamp create a super stable structure. This stability further prevents turbulent air coming off the edge of the screen.
