This is a kit for Dirt bikes riding mainly off road, the bulb does have a high/low beam if you have a switch, but will not have a dipped beam pattern in low beam.

Get rid of your OEM bulb NOW!
I am not sure why KTM even bothers with their crap-arse bulb. It is worthless for riding trails at night. On a 450 XCW, that is not street-legal off of the floor why wouldn't they have a decent headlamp? This Cyclops bulb should be stock OEM. This is a torch, and is enough to ride single track at night, though you really need a headlamp also as a minimum night setup to always have light where you are looking. Also, I have bashed my number plate/headlight into trees, stumps and the ground and the bulb is still holding up. For a while I had a cheapo chinese HID setup that was brighter than a star, but fragile because it is still a gas bulb setup. LED is the way to go for dirt bikes. Lastly, because I live nearby, I brought my headlight assembly/number plate in and the crew at Cyclops installed my bulb and made sure it was working perfect before I left.

My eyes have seen the glory
I'm very impressed with this upgrade for my 2017 Husky FE 350. It's much better than stock and lives up to a true plug and play description. On the Plus side... Brighter and has a very good wide pattern that helps with peripheral views which aid in depth perception. It increases your visibility to oncoming traffic. It runs cooler than the stock light It's sold by a company that I have first hand knowledge of their good communication with customers like me. It does have a high and low beam No modifications were required to install it. It made my bike go faster. Really, I can see better at night and go faster. Now that eh part Took a liitle time to figure out how to get it to seat in the headlight frame. Could easliy have just been me not the design. It isn't a true low cutoff low beam but for me, thats a positive, for others that may care, I say why does that matter?

Holy Bright White Light Batman
This little addition to my 501S is incredible. So easy to install and what a difference it makes. Have not actually been in the woods yet at night but I feel that it will be awesome. Good support on questions by customers as well.

Purchased the bulb for my 2017 Husky 300. Very easy install with the included rectifier, and puts out a nice even beam pattern as good as the stock bulb, but much brighter. I have a Baja Designs XL Sport on another bike, and this puts out comparable light at a much more reasonable price. Plus using the stock light housing is a plus. Nice product.

I dont get it?
I have had the Cyclops bulb in my 2015 KTM 300 since late summer. I was recently reading threw some threads on KTM Talk about how there where issues with this product. I don't get that. Mine fit fine and is a huge improvement. I am very happy that I did not need to get an aftermarket stator and this bulb works as good if not better than my buddies 350 setup. One of the best mods I have made to my 300
